Bamford Cycle Hub

The Anglers Rest is our cycle hub in Bamford, on the edge of the Dark and White peaks, where you won't find a more cyclist-friendly venue in the Peak District.

A community-run pub, restaurant, cafe and post office with large car park, specially equipped with cycle racks, locks, a built-in pump and workstation with tools.

There are also changing facilities if you would like to change in and out of your cycling kit.

Both our Bamford Hub Ride events and self-guided rides start and finish here.

Coffee and Cake

You can choose from a delicious range of cakes and pastries to go with your americano, latte, cappuccino or expresso and either sit a table or sink into the soft leather sofas.

The cafe is ideal for that pre or post ride coffee fix!

Meals and Snacks

Why not have a meal before or after your ride? There's plenty of options to choose from.

The menu includes soup, bread (with a gluten-free option), jacket potatoes and you can either choose from the Light Bite menu in the cafe or a more substantial meal from the bar menu, both freshly cooked and using local suppliers.
